Objective
The specified project objectives are: 1.Design and development of the electrochemical biosensor based on LIFT of nanocomposite materials i.e. conductive polymers and graphene. 2.System testing and validation of the electrochemical biosensor for the detection of heavy metals.

Expected results
1. Laboratory model of an electrochemical biosensor for the detection of heavy metals from biological fluids.
2. One student (master or PhD student) will be hired for the duration of the project.
3. Increase of the Romanian research visibility though the participation at international conferences and workshops and publication of 3 ISI papers.
4. New research specific services (see www.erris.ro).
