iFLEX,

Smart flexible biosensor via laser transfer for body fluids monitoring

The general objective of the iFLEX project is the fabrication of flexible, wearable, and cost effective biosensors based on nanocomposite materials (polymers and graphene). The electrochemical biosensors shall be fabricated by laser induced forward transfer, and shall be used for monitoring heavy metals in body fluids.

The iFLEX project aims two specific objectives: i) Design and development of the electrochemical biosensors based on LIFT of nanocomposite materials i.e. conductive polymers and graphene; and ii) System testing of the electrochemical biosensors for detection of heavy metals.
